Pre CBT Training
Our Pre CBT Training session is a 1hr introduction to a 125cc motorbike. Taking place on our training site we will show you about motorcycle controls and instruct you to develop the core basic riding skills;
- Pulling away and balance
- Stopping
- Slow control
- Gear changing
Pre-CBT Training is aimed at novices who want to prepare themselves for then doing a CBT course. A full CBT is 7-8hrs of practical and classroom training and is a lot of information to take in. By doing our pre-CBT training you will be more relaxed when you come for a CBT knowing that you can already control a motorcycle and it will give you the best chance of successfully completing your CBT.
You will need to bring;
- A UK full or provisional driving licence with provisional category A1 motorcycle entitlement
- A motorcycle helmet – ECE2205 or ECE2206 approved, damage-free and correctly fitting
- Motorcycle gloves
- Motorcycle jacket and trousers or at the minimum a heavyweight jacket and strong jeans (no rips).
- Boots with over ankle protection
- Waterproofs if it is likely to rain
£50 for 1hr
The cost of the pre-CBT training session is redeemable against a full motorcycle licence training course plus CBT with 3CMT (valid up to 3 months after attending pre-CBT training).
Important! Pre-CBT training –
- Does not give you any qualification to ride a motorcycle.
- Will take place only on our training site.
- Does not include any road riding.
- Does not eliminate you from any part of the CBT syllabus when returning for a CBT
