Novice DAS or A2 Courses

Our novice DAS or A2 courses are for if you have never ridden before OR only ridden an auto before OR not ridden since a previous CBT. See our DAS page for information about full category A licence requirements and our A2 page for restricted licence requirements.

Match your level of experience to a course. If you over estimate your experience you may not meet the required standard in the time available and will need additional training sessions. Call us before booking to discuss any questions and we will be happy to talk you through the options.

Training sessions are usually 4 hours, morning or afternoon (test times may affect this). You may be with with one other rider. The first training session after a CBT is on a 125cc motorcycle in order to develop your road riding skills before progressing to a Category A or A2 motorbike.

CBT sessions are approx 7hrs – 8hrs

Novice Course Full Package

• You have never ridden before
• Or your previous CBT was on an automatic machine
• Or you have not ridden since a previous CBT

This 7 session course is £1188.50 and includes

Theory Test booking | CBT (session 1) | Training session 2 | Training session 3 | Training session 4 | Training session 5 with MOD 1 test booking | Training session 6 | Training session 7 with MOD 2 test booking

All training sessions are 4 hours, either a morning or afternoon session. CBT is approx 7hrs.

Novice Course with a CBT

• You have never ridden before
• Or your previous CBT was on an automatic machine
• Or you have not ridden since a previous CBT
• You have a valid Motorcycle Theory Test pass certificate*

This 7 session course is £1165.50 and includes

CBT (session 1) | Training session 2 | Training session 3 | Training session 4 | Training session 5 with MOD 1 test booking | Training session 6 | Training session 7 with MOD 2 test booking

All training sessions are 4 hours, either a morning or afternoon session. CBT is approx 7hrs.

(*bookers responsibility to already possess a valid Motorcycle Theory Test pass certificate)

Novice Course with a Theory Test

• You have previously done a CBT on a geared 125cc motorbike
• The CBT certificate is still valid(*)
• You have not ridden since your CBT

This 7 session course is £1155.50 and includes

Theory Test booking | Training session 1 | Training session 2 | Training session 3 | Training session 4 | Training session 5 with MOD 1 test booking | Training session 6 | Training session 7 with MOD 2 test booking

All training sessions are 4 hours, either a morning or afternoon session.

Novice Course
