Expert DAS or A2 Courses and A to A2 upgrade

Our expert DAS / A2 courses are for if you have extensive riding experience such as on an A2 licence that you wish to upgrade to full A.

Match your level of experience to a course. If you overestimate your experience you may not meet the required standard in the time available and will need additional training sessions. Call us before booking to discuss any questions and we will be happy to talk you through the options.

Training sessions are 4 hours per day, morning or afternoon (test times my affect this). You may be with with one other rider.

Expert DAS or A2 Course or A2 to A licence upgrade (no CBT no Theory Test*)

• You have extensive regular riding experience such as a lost category A entitlement or riding on an A2 licence
• Your have a valid CBT certificate*
• You have a valid Motorcycle Theory Test pass*

This 4 session course is £674.50 and includes

Training session 1 | Training session 2 | Training session 3 with MOD 1 test booking | Training session 4 with MOD 2 test booking

All training sessions are 4 hours, either a morning or afternoon session.

(*bookers responsibility to already possess a valid CBT and Motorcycle Theory Test pass certificate if needed). Existing A2 licence holders wishing to upgrade to a full category A licence should either have held an A2 licence for a minimum of 2 years AND be a minimum of 21 yrs old; in which case no theory test is required. If an A2 licence has been held for LESS than 2 years but you have now turned 24yrs old you also require a valid theory test certificate to upgrade your licence.

Expert DAS or A2 Course or A2 to A licence upgrade with Theory (no CBT*)

• You have extensive regular riding experience such as a lost category A entitlement or riding on an A2 licence
• Your have a valid CBT certificate (not required for A2 to A upgrade)*
• You do not have a valid Motorcycle Theory Test pass

This 4 session course is £697.50 and includes

Theory Test | Training session 1 | Training session 2 | Training session 3 with MOD 1 test booking | Training session 4 with MOD 2 test booking

All training sessions are 4 hours, either a morning or afternoon session.

Existing A2 licence holders wishing to upgrade to a full category A licence should either have held an A2 licence for a minimum of 2 years AND be a minimum of 21 yrs old; in which case no theory test is required.

If an A2 licence has been held for LESS than 2 years but you have now turned 24yrs old you also require a valid theory test certificate to upgrade your licence. You will also need to pass your Cat A Mod 2 test within 6 months of passing your Cat A Mod 1 test.
