A recent article over on the Motorcycle News website points to a good 2022 for biking. Despite the effects of the COVID lockdowns on motorcycle tests able to be conducted, the last half of 2021 was a record period for motorcycle tests taking place, the best since 2012 when riders were trying to beat the deadline of the old A2 restrictions. Here at 3CMT we also saw a big demand for DAS courses last year and it has continued into this year.
Bike manufacturers have also reported 2021 as a bumper year with an overall increase of 9.3% in new bike registrations compared with 2020. Meanwhile new car registrations were only up 1%.
So don’t wait for spring and summer to learn to ride, get booked in now with 3CMT to make the most of when the weather turns and the evenings get lighter. And those foreign bike trips should be back on the agenda too.
